instructions and support?
Yes
- How is your material attached to the building?
You
attach our material by using blocking that is supplied
by others. The installer drills through
the face of the material and counter sinks screws
16” O.C. Fibertech supplies a Fiberglass
Repair Kit for the installer to repair the holes
caused by the screws. This process is similar to
patching sheetrock.
- Does your product
need to be painted?
Fibertech recommends that all
columns
be painted in field
after installation. Other FRP material does not
have to be painted. Dark or metallic colors will
have to painted either by Fibertech or an installer
(Fibertech recommends installer).

shop drawings?

state of the project

covered by the customer.

Each individual piece is wrapped

numbered with part numbers
that coincide with the shop drawings. Each piece
is then loaded on to a truck piece by piece (no
bulk packaging or pallets). The customer is responsible
for unloading each piece at the job site.
- Does your
company have any onsite storage?
No, we make our
material to ship. Any storage beyond
staging of parts is the customer’s responsibility.
- What is the thickness of material?
3/16” nominal
thickness with minimum of ¼” at the
attachment points on shop drawings.
- Are your corners on a cornice prefabricated?
Yes
- What type textures are available for FRP?
Our most
common texture is smooth matte texture. Sprayed
on textures are available at an additional cost.
- What colors are available with FRP?
Fibertech
can offer a wide range of colors. However we are
not
able to produce dark colors or metallic colors
without painting the product. Please contact sales
